Profit & Loss
A summary of your income and spending over one period. Not how much you earn, but how much is truly left over as yours.

Balance Sheet
A snapshot of your wealth at one point in time: liquid assets, use assets, investment assets, short and long-term debt. The result is a number few people know: your real net worth.

Cash Flow
The pattern of money coming in and going out over one period, broken down into essentials, obligations, savings, and discretionary spending.

Six Personal Financial Ratios
Basic Liquidity, Liquid to Net Worth, Saving (at least 10%), Debt to Asset, Debt Service (at most 35%), and Investment Asset to Net Worth: the numbers that show whether your finances are healthy or already in the red.

Time Value of Money
Calculating your own financial needs: compound interest, present value, future value, and annuities. Including uncovering the true interest on an instalment, often many times higher than it looks.

Translating life goals into concrete monthly numbers: savings targets, a house down payment, mortgage instalments, paying off debt, a children's education fund, and a retirement fund.

No. This is not a sales session for insurance, mutual funds, or any investment product. The workshop teaches you how to design your own finances, including how to judge whether a product fits your goals. There are no product offers during or after the workshop.
Yes, and that is exactly who it is for. All the material starts from zero, in plain language, without jargon, and with examples drawn from everyday life.
No. Every calculation is done with a free financial calculator app, guided step by step. What you learn is not the formula, but how to use it to answer the questions in your own life.
Bring a smartphone or a laptop. Bring stationery and a notebook too if you need them.
Highly recommended. The more complete the data you bring, such as a list of your assets, debts, income, and monthly spending, the more real the blueprint you take home. Your data stays private, is never discussed in front of the room, and never needs to be shared with anyone.
There is no minimum. The principles of financial planning apply to every income level, only the numbers differ. In fact, the earlier you start, the more time works in your favour.
Highly recommended. A household financial plan only works when both sides understand it and agree to it. Many plans fail not because of a wrong calculation, but because only one person understands them.
